Gai Pad Med Mamuang
100 grams - chicken sliced
1/4 cup - roasted cashew nu or almond
1/2 cup - straw mushroom (or any mushroom), sliced
lonion - small onion sliced
1/4 cup - spring onion cut into pieces (1 inch)
1-2 chilies - large red dried chilies cut into 4-5 pieces
1 tbsp - garlic chopped
1/2 tbsp - soy sauce
1 tbsp -oyster sauce
1 tsp - sugar
1/2 cup - water or chicken stock
1 tbsp - oil
1. Heat oil in work over medium heat and brown the garlic. Add the chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes, turning regularly.
2. Then add onions, straw mushrooms, soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar: mix well. Add chicken stock, cook a few minutes, then add the cashew nuts and spring onions at the end.
3. Garnish with dried chilies.
